Fault phenomenon and maintenance of thermoelectric protection device

After the fire is lit, if the hand does not leave the knob, it can burn normally, but it will go out after the hand relaxes the pressed knob. Usually, there is a problem with the thermoelectric protection device.
After the failure of the thermoelectric protection device is basically determined, the main valve of the gas supply must be closed first before maintenance!
Open the cooktop panel, first check whether there is any problem with the connection between the thermocouple and the solenoid valve, if there is any poor contact, please remove it first.
Unscrew or unplug the connection between the thermocouple and the solenoid valve, and use the ohm stop of the multimeter to detect the on-off status of the thermocouple and the solenoid coil respectively (and manually check whether the solenoid valve is flexible), and judge whether the thermocouple or the solenoid valve is damaged, or Bad contact. It is very unlikely that both components will be damaged at the same time. If it is a multi-head cooker, you can use a normal thermocouple or solenoid valve to make an alternative judgment. The thermocouple and solenoid valve can also be removed and combined offline test: press the solenoid valve into the electromagnet with one hand, use a lighter to heat the probe with the other hand, release the hand holding the valve after 3 to 5 seconds, and observe Whether the valve can remain in position. Then remove the lighter and observe whether the solenoid valve can release itself after 8-10 seconds. If it can be positioned after heating and reset after cooling, it means the device is normal. Another method for checking the thermocouple is to use the millivolt block of the multimeter to check the voltage after the heating probe, which should usually reach more than 20mV.

1. Always keep the thermocouple probe clean, wipe off the dirt with a rag, do not shake the probe at will (to prevent damage), or change the upper and lower positions (affects normal use).
2. When disassembling and assembling the solenoid valve assembly, be careful not to damage or forget to install the sealing rubber ring and valve rubber ring.
3. The length of the thermocouple has different specifications, and the joint also has various forms. When purchasing new components, pay attention to matching the model of the cooker.
4. The flameout protection device of the gas cooker is only for protection after accidental flameout and static, not for universal protection. From the gas supply source to the inside and outside of the cooker, there may be links that may cause air leakage, and this should not be careless.
5. Before resuming the use of the cooker after repairing, be sure to carefully check the sealing of each contact, and then open the main gas supply valve only after confirming that it is correct.
